[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Image resize doesnt make sense?

  • Hello.

    I have a NEXTgen slideshow playing on my front page. The problem is that I need the image in the slideshow to be a certain size. I create the image with dimensions of 700×450 but when the slideshow loads, it changes the image dimension to 700×478. I don’t want that to happen….

    its driving me nuts and I can’t figure out how to fix that.

    Any suggestions?

  • I’m unfamiliar with slideshows but have you set the dimensions either through shortcode/function parameters or Options > Slideshow?

    yes, i need some help with this too…

    i have read people talking about options to stretch and fit images for slideshow, but i do not have this in my options. i can only select the size, duration and effect on the ‘slideshow’ tab in the options. and when i set the size to 620 x 465 the images stay the same size in the slideshow in the post.

    options to stretch and fit are only there if you choose to use JW Image Rotator.

    so does anyone know how to stretch images for use in a slideshow?
