Buddypress Issues

  • I am having a hard time getting this setup to work with my Buddypress community. I use Youzify with BuddyX theme.

    My issues are:

    • Event pages don’t display in group activity when posted.
    • Single event pages when view default to domain.com/events/MyEvent1 when displayed, It shows very bare bones post display. I want it to display like it does when I edit it in front end through Youzify like domain.com/members/SomeMember/events/MyEvent1. But when I change the page URL, it still doesn’t function like it does from the events creation front end. Not sure if that makes sense or not. Single event pages are not as important as simply displaying the event, being able to RSVP and/or posting event details into a group.
    • Is there a short code to display the current group’s events?

    Events are critical to my website and any assistance would be very much appreciated. If I can work through these issues, I am definitely looking at purchasing the pro version in the future.

    update:

    I fixed the 2nd issue by disabling the designated pages for editing events. I still need assistance for the first and third issues listed above.

    Main Issue: No group event tab

    I have tried compatibility testing, disabled everything and enabled one at a time, nothing is fixing. I uninstalled and reinstalled this plugin and still no Buddypress Group event tab.

    Really not sure what else to try.
