I think, I got it. I have an account on that website, that I redirect to. And I’m logged in there. I’ve just signed out from that website, and the affiliate link started to work correctly. Because it can’t work, when I’m already logged in on that website.

However, is it normal, that your plugin redirects to admin panel, if the link is not accesible? I guess, it’ll redirect to my admin panel every user, who is authorized on that Litnet website?

Just in case, I put back old affiliate link.

Our plugin does not redirect to something else. It just puts that destination link as the destination and if it fails to load, you should get an error.

Sounds like it might be come kind of caching problem if it works differently in incognito mode. Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

@brechtvds I did try to clear cache. But it didn’t help. The problem is 100% related to me being already logged in on a destination website. So the registration link couldn’t be triggered. It works only for non authorised users. So I was automatically sent back to admin panel then.

So I guess, your plugin (or WordPress itself) can send back to your tab in admin panel (in certain cases). Maybe, certain response code is responsible for this…

I’ve just tried to use https://litnet.com/auth/register/?_lnref=d0U7IkTc link again, and now it redirected me to https://www.ads-software.com/. I guess, it just sends authorised users to refferrer.

It would indeed be the destination link doing another redirect. Probably to the referrer then, as you mentioned.

Once we have redirected to the destination, our plugin (or WordPress) is not in control anymore and doesn’t affect anything.
