Can’t find Footer in Panel

I am working on setting up this site – no comments or posts will be there, just pages. The footer of my theme has this HUGE section with Categories, Pages, Archives and Calendar that I need to get rid of, but I cannot find a footer option in the WP Panel. I see ‘Header’ under the Appearance tab but no footer.
