    Hi @ltrost0910gmail

Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro, I’m really sorry to hear about this issue you are facing.

I’d like to replicate this issue as I haven’t been able to yet. Can you tell me more about the context of your home page?

Are you using the [pmpro_member] shortcode on the home page and it looks like you are using Elementor based on the error log. Is this shortcode placed within Elementor for your home page?

I tried to test this with and without Elementor but I haven’t been able to replicate it yet.

    Thank you for your patience.

I came to report something similar. For me, v2.12.9 conflicts with Advanced Ads. I am using Advanced Ads placement feature for PMPro members to not see ads. If I am logged in, website doesn’t break, once I am logged out, the website breaks at the point an advert is to be loaded. I have reverted to PMPro v2.12.8 and website is working fine.

Thanks for the feedback @rockwildaz, I’ll be testing that during the course of today as well.

The same problem after update to 2.12.9. Website down with critical error but only for visitors, not admins.

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function pmpro_strip_member_shortcode() in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/shortcodes/pmpro_member.php:178

Plugins installed: Paid Memberships Pro – Auto-Renewal Checkbox (Version .2.9), Paid Memberships Pro – Pay by Check Add On (0.9).

I had to deactivate “Paid Memberships Pro” to get website back to live.

I rolled it back to 2.12.8 and it works now so obviously some changes in 2.12.9 caused that critical error and who knows how many websites also affected but not aware of it yet
