    Hello Oooorgle,

    On mode=’gallery’ pages, clicking a quote/image (and their source link) stops the timer, and clicking them again transitions into the next quote, while the timer is still off, which is very counterintuitive especially for images and links, and can’t find a way to go back to the previous quote/image. Did I miss something?

    Would it be possible to alter/suppress this click behaviour on quotes, or at least the images? Or include some (facultative) next/previous options (and still suppress the current click behaviour, else it gets redundant)?

    Hi Septim,

    The gallery mode certainly has its issues. The way it should function is clicking the quote, as you described, stops the timer. Clicking again cycles another random quote. What you should see is in the top right, there is a an icon (restart) that will enable the timer again and it should begin to auto cycle once more. It doesn’t allow going back to previous quotes as they are randomly queried from the data set.

    I’ll add a ToDo note about an option to remove timer toggle on gallery. Good idea! Although, I will be honest that I don’t get much time to work on this as of late.

    If you happen to notice the timer sometimes becomes duplicated, offset or the toggle disappears when displayed for any good length of time, it’s a known bug which hasn’t been worked out yet, a frustrating one ?? Thanks Setpim!

    Hey Oooorgle,

    I could eventually make the links clickable/target_blank to greatly improve the situation.

    The timer appears mostly offset indeed, hence some confusion. Also, the current way the plugin works makes sense for some uses, and not for some others, and I appreciate you clarifying how it is supposed to work, so I can scale my use of it, and also guide visitors about it.

    No pressure, it’s good to know that it’s all in the pipe ??
