Hello! I’m wondering if it’s possible to pre-fill some default SKU data in the SKU field of all new products? For example, if a store has all their SKUs start with XYZ123 followed by custom characters… so a full sku looks like XYZ123lotsofotherinfo – is it possible to automatically load the XYZ123 part in the SKU field when adding new products?

Looking forward to your guidance on this one, I couldn’t find anything on it in any of the help forums. Thanks!

    Hi there,

I understand you are trying to have default SKU data automatically generated for you.

At the moment, WooCommerce doesn’t have a built-in feature to pre-fill the SKU field with a default value. However, you could consider using a third-party plugin like Easy Auto SKU Generator for WooCommerce that allows you to automatically generate SKUs, or you could hire a developer to create a custom function that pre-fills the SKU field with your desired value.

    I hope this helps.
