• Is it possible to export the data from. 8.0.6 to preserve it instead of losing it with the upgrade. Please provide the code to do so.

  • I agree. I bought the plugin, because I really like it. But this loss of my data, is hard to take. My site has been running for years (since 2021). I see the page counts, in the dashboard… from before, but they don’t display in the default dashboard page, or on the pages themselves. I’m quite upset actually. If we can get a fix to join the new code to the previous database that would be best, wouldn’t it? Look what I’m missing!

I came back to edit this one more time. But the edit button is not showing to me at this time.

I can see that some of my pages have maintained their visit counts. However, this image shows that there are many pages (most). That are showing visits as ‘undefined’. How can I make these pages visit counts show, please.

Lastnight, I removed 9.* and tried to install 8.0.3.
    It hangs on import data.

Anyone else been able to fix this and get their stats back??

@ripriprip catching up with messages I just checked my site I am running 8.0.6 there used to be a link from the developer to this on this thread.

I’m going to try to install this. Legacy Plugin

As they won’t be providing updates for it. Unless they provide an import stats/data fix. This will be the last version that I use. So sad. I really liked this plugin, before the upgrade that removed all my page stats.

I just don’t understand why they couldn’t use parts of the original database, or pull from that in the new version.

    Thanks for answering.

@ripriprip agreed. The developer sees the community responses to this change I am not certain why he isn’t acknowledging that. For new users this is probably okay they haven’t lost anything but for pre-existing users our data is everything.

I’m just crossing my fingers, that in stalling ‘Legacy’ won’t overwrite all my database stats. Working on it now.

    I agree with you.
It will look bad, I think for new users.. when they see that the developers have done this to previous users. Maybe people will be afraid that this could happen again in the future and affect them, this way too.
