Hi, when I enable Jetpack connection (using wordpress.com), suddenly Jetpack is overwriting some of my image SRC attributes with placeholder URLs [via.placholder.com], so my images aren’t showing. This is despite not having any of the Jetpack image features (CDN, lazy loading, image optimisation etc) turned on.

When I disconnect my site from Jetpack/Wordpress.com (but keep the Jetpack plugin active), the issue is resolved, but I can’t use some of the other Jetpack features I want to use (primarily visibility settings on widgets).

This is not a setup issue, not a plugin conflict, this is a Jetpack functionality issue. The settings for Jetpack CDN and ‘Speed up image load times’ are all correctly set to OFF/DISABLED.

Where or how do I disable this behaviour please. Thanks.

    Hi there, @mgbwm,

Have you checked whether the Jetpack SEO feature is disabled upon activating the plugin? I wonder if this is affecting the way your images are displayed.

It’s difficult to investigate, though, with no examples and no Jetpack connection enabled. Could you explain step-by-step how the issue happens? This helps us if we cannot replicate your specific issue on our end. Feel free to attach a screenshot in your next reply if you think it can be useful to me.?You can share screenshots if that helps. You can create screenshots using something like Snipboard or Imgur and post the link here.

Lastly, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

    Look forward to your reply!
