    Hi,

I registering a User on my website and sending the Admin (me) a template of the User details, using the “New User Registration – For Admin” list of shortcodes.

Users are being registered via. a different plugin, “Login/Signup Popup” (by Xootix).

I am using the following shortcodes:

    [user_id]
    [user_login]
    [user_role]
    [user_registered]
    [display_name]
    [user_firstname]
    [user_lastname]
    [user_email]

    Problem:

All of them appear and populate successfully, except for [user_firstname] and [user_lastname].

Please note: i am using wordpress version v.6.4.3

    Hi @shakibt,
    Thanks for your message.

This usually happens when the plugin that allows user registration saves the user twice – once at the timeof initial registration, which is when BNFW sends out the New User Registration notifications, and then again to update their user meta with additional details, such as their first name and last name.
The only way to verify this is to register a user via the WP Admin and check that its working as expected. This then will tell you if it’s the plugin you’re using that is causing the issue and may require you find another one for this to work.

Let me know how you get on with testing this.
