Yes thanks!! i have placed the shortcode on a page, but when I click on it nothing happens. Do you know if I still have to set something, or is everything automatically set correctly once you have downloaded the plugin?

What is the messages location set in Better Messages plugin settings?

ohh sorry i have placed the shortcode on a listing (plugin classified listing) its not a page…

I did not asked about shortcode, you need to select page where messages will be located in Better Messages settings.

I only want to enable people to chat by clicking the button and no other subscribers can message, can I turn it off? Can i hide the ”start a new conversation”?

You can disable new conversation screen at WP Admin -> Better Messages -> Settings -> Customizations tab.

Then you need to modify shortcode and set fast_start=”1″ attribute, otherwise it will not work without new conversation screen.

No, the receiver only will receive popup notification about new message and when clicked on it, he can be directed to conversation.

In the WebSocket version its also possible to open mini chat at the same page instead of redirection to messages page.

only one question.. I don’t get the translation of the blue button: private message in Dutch. I have the plugin loco translate and it says 100% translated but not yet on my website: (1) 8 kamerwoning (woonkraam.com)
