    • I have created a new page on my website. The page is listed with others on my ‘dashboard’ but, does not appear as a page on the main menu of the website. I want the page to be a sub-page of another and have entered the main page as ‘Parent’ on the dashboard. I have previously created a few other pages which are sub-pages and they appear on the main menu. I can’t quite recall how I did that but, I up-graded recently to the latest version of WordPress and don’t know if that is relevant. Any advice appreciated.

In most cases, you have to add the page to your navigation menu manually: it won’t appear automatically — unless you’re using the Pagelist block (for block themes) or you ticked the box to add new pages automatically.

If you’re using a classic theme, go to APPEARANCE => MENU, and add the newly-created page to your “main menu”. If you’re using a block theme, add the page wherever you’ve inserted your navigation block.
