I am creating a site in development with debugging on and am getting an error message reported when I access the login screen /login.php:

Deprecated: strlen(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in C:\xampp\htdocs\keywise\wp-includes\formatting.php on line 3557

Deactivating Download Manager removes this error which suggests that it is the source of the error. If I deactivate everything else, I get the error.

I have not set up and am not planning on using any of the front end features.

I realise that the message will disappear when I switch debugging off but thought it worth reporting the issues as Download Manager should not be interacting at all with the login screen.

    Can you look at this?

I’ve tested and couldn’t reproduce the issue. It might be related to a conflict with another plugin alongside wpdm. Could you please try keeping wpdm active while deactivating other plugins to see if the issue resolves? Additionally, could you please share your site URL?

It happens when Download Manager is the only plugin activated. You only see it when you have debug set on.
