Support,
We are using the wp all import to download our images to an s3 bucket and images are not able to be created on the s3 bucket. We are currently running wordpress 6.4 and the lastest version of OffLoad Lite and the site was running fine up to the feb 11th update. There is no permission problem with the s3 because we allow public access to the s3 bucket.
Here is the warning we are getting
[Tue Feb 20 06:21:29.392073 2024] [php7:warn] [pid 28388] [client 10.5.4.25:13136] PHP Warning: getimagesize(https://{s3 BucketURI}/{domain}/images/2024/02/20010619/Dennis_Passow_picjpghffalsevffalse.jpeg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden\r\n in /usr/web/{domain}/wp-content/themes/coreV2/header.php on line 49
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Shawn

Hi @ogdennews,
WP Offload Media Support Team here. Thanks for reaching out with your query, we would be happy to assist!
I’m not familiar with WP All Import being able to download images directly to an S3 bucket. Could you give us more information about this? Are you maybe importing your Media Library using WP All Import and they are not getting offloaded to your S3 bucket?
Just to confirm, if you upload an image via the Media Library, does it get saved to your S3 bucket?
The error below:
[Tue Feb 20 06:21:29.392073 2024] [php7:warn] [pid 28388] [client 10.5.4.25:13136] PHP Warning: getimagesize(https://{s3 BucketURI}/{domain}/images/2024/02/20010619/Dennis_Passow_picjpghffalsevffalse.jpeg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden\r\n in /usr/web/{domain}/wp-content/themes/coreV2/header.php on line 49
… seems to be about your theme header trying to access an image directly from your bucket. Does the image “Dennis_Passow_picjpghffalsevffalse.jpeg” exist in the path above?
Looking forward to your response.
Hello,
I’m sorry I was a bit confusing we are using the WP ALL IMPORT to download images in the media library and them OFFLOAD LITE sends them to the s3 bucket. We noticed we were getting access denied, and the image was not sent to the s3 bucket which has full public access. We can confirm images so far that was updated on WordPress is making to the s3 bucket. We also noticed its stop working with WP-ALL IMPORT after the offload lite update from 2/11/2023. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
In Offload delivery settings we are getting this error
Delivery provider status cannot be determined. An error was encountered while attempting to offload a temporary file for Public delivery.
Thanks, Shawn

Hi @ogdennews,
Thank you for your response. To confirm, you’re using WP All Import to download images and put them in the media gallery. And since the latest update of WP Offload Media, images imported are no longer offloaded. Are these correct?
WP Offload Media uses WordPress hooks and filters for uploading media and serving their URLs, aiming for compatibility with other plugins, though it may not work with all as plugins can be built differently. For more info on plugins compatible with WP Offload Media, please check this page: https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/compatibility-with-other-plugins/
It’s possible that WP All Import is conflicting with WP Offload Media. But to help us understand your setup, would you be able to send us the diagnostic information from the Support tab on your install?
- Go to the Support tab of your install
- Scroll down to the “Diagnostic Info”
- Copy the contents and send it with your reply here. You may remove any private info that you don’t want to share.
The images are not offloading through wp import the rest works in a different bucket. This stopped on the Feb 11th update. We even updated to the Feb 13th update thinking that it was bug and released an update to fix but it was still the same. WP ALL IMPORT was updated yesterday as well and the same problem exists.

Hi @ogdennews,
Thanks for sending that in. Regarding this error: “Delivery provider status cannot be determined. An error was encountered while attempting to offload a temporary file for Public delivery.” This usually means that WP Offload Media couldn’t upload a temp file (a txt file) to your bucket.
Are you using a custom policy? If so, kindly check our documentation below for custom policies in Amazon S3.
https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/custom-iam-policy-for-amazon-s3/
I see in your diagnostics that debugging is disabled. Would you please try editing your wp-config.php file and replace this line –
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
With these lines –
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);This means that any errors are logged to
/wp-content/debug.log
, because some errors are not visible on screen. More details about that at https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/#wp_debugCan you click the “Check again” link in the Delivery provider notice? If it fails again, kindly check the debug.log file for any mention of S3.
Another thing I noticed is that you seem to be using the old constants AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID and AWS_ACCESS_KEY_KEY. We have received reports before of customers having issues using the old constants.
Kindly check our guide below on how to setup AWS access using the new method. Please remove/comment out the old constants when using the new one.
https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/amazon-s3-quick-start-guide/#save-access-keys
Let us know how it goes for you.
Same thing with new constants no errors about s3 in the debug.log and still does not work.

Hello,
I wanted to let you know this was an issue with smush pro 3.15.5 on Feb 6th update has an issue with wp all import and Offload media lite. Thank you very much.
-Shawn
Hello,
Smush pro plugin developers is saying that ?“Delivery provider status cannot be determined. An error was encountered while attempting to offload a temporary file for Public delivery.” is causing the issue with import.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @ogdennews,
You mentioned that it was an issue with Smush Pro. May we know how you found out? Could you try deactivating that plugin, then doing the import by WP All Import again? Does the issue still happen?
If you have a staging site, we recommend performing the same process while all other plugins are deactivated. Please also try using a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty, to help rule out any conflicts.
Let us know how it goes for you.
Thanks for the information. We have deactivated the plugin and the folks at smush pro could replicate the issue. Right now we’re waiting back to hear more information.
