• Hi,

Many thanks for your great plugin!

Is that possible to automatically create redirection on RankMath when the plugin redirect an url?

So, if a 404 url match with another url and your plugin do a redirection, rather than search each time this url is accessed, it add a redirection to RankMath.

Can you help me to make this or add this feature?

Thanks and have a good day!

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback!

This is an interesting feature request, however doing so would create 2 problems:

    • The “Similar Post” that would be created in RankMath would be “eternal”, and might become out of date after 1 or 2 months (if a new post released is more relevant in the future)
    • It would make a part of the plugin’s features dependant on RankMath. And some users use YOAST or Redirection plugins, so there should be alternative for these users too.

It’s still an interesting middle-ground before implementing a proper “Saved Redirection” in the plugin itself, which might come in a future update.

    I’ll think about it.

I hope this anwers your question.

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer!

An alternative would be to log redirections in admin UI and add a simple button dependently if we have RankMath or Yoast installed on each line to add a permanent redirect more simply.

I’m sure you will find the best solution in the future.

    Have a great day!
