• basically my wordpress site is running as a subdomain to another website that is unrelated to mine and that is made in joomla.
i’ve built my website with xampp and everything was fine, but when i’ve uploaded it on the server i’m forced to either use the default permalink and if i chose anything else i’m forced to have /index.php/ in front of EVERY page and i dont want that and if i remove /index.php/ then i get 404 errors

the server is running on Win 2003 IIS6

HELP, and dont give me links to wordpress faq cause i’ve read that. i need instructions not a reason why.
