I wanted to add the Woocommerce>Orders page to the main menu, but when the order arrives, the red circular notification showing the number of orders does not appear. How to add?

I don’t remember when exactly during the page load WooCommerce adds the notification, but typically notifications like that are part of the menu title. Make sure that the menu title hasn’t been changed. When you set a custom title, it will override any title changes such as the notification.

If you created a new menu item with a custom URL that just links to the Orders page, unfortunately, it won’t be possible to show the notification on that menu since it’s not the “same” menu item.

    Hi

I am also having the same problem with the notification dot not showing for various plugins. Even if I do not create any ‘new’ menu items for these plugins and use the plugins’ core menu items, once AME is activated, the dot for these plugins disappears, deactivate AME, and they appear.

    Any ideas??

    Thanks!

Assuming that you haven’t edited the menu item titles, another reason could be that the plugins that added the items first register them without the dot and then add the dot later. Due to how AME replaces the default admin menu with a custom configuration, the admin menu effectively becomes non-editable after a certain point during the page load. So if a plugin doesn’t add their notification bubble/dot/circle when creating the menu item, it might not be able to add it later. Unfortunately, this is a technical limitation; I’m not aware of any way to overcome it without also making the plugin more complicated and slower.

    Hi Janis

Thanks for your reply to this matter. I have not changed the Title names, but yes, some do not appear as they do with AME deactivated. However, I do get our explanation and understand what you are saying.

AME is too important to me so I will stick with it, just a shame about the dots on some plugins!

    Thanks Again!
