    Can you please explain how to get a background image to work on either a post or a page? I don’t have it turned off, but it’s not showing. Also, your current instructions for doing this don’t work because there’s no format to click on that shows the background image.

    These options should actually be available in the Customiser. Under Customiser -> Single Post -> Post Title section. Make sure you select the “Type 2” design.

    Thanks for your response.

    I figured it out, you have to click on the “Featured Image” button under “Page Elements”. This applies to both posts and pages. I also selected the right side layout in General Page Structure.

    You may want to update your instructions, because it doesn’t describe this way of getting the featured image to show.

    The instructions actually apply for both methods of showing the featured image – in the hero section or separately.
