• I really wanted to like this plug-in but I’m rating it 2 stars because it works, at least in theory, but basically its useless if you don’t pay for for premium or opt to provide free advertising for it by way of a link on your site.

I only have 616 images in my site’s media library, the site gets little traffic about 150-200 visits a month, yet the plug-in keeps saying I’m over limit and disables itself. The plug-in is however left activated and uses some resources, but effectively it’s then useless.

The image quality is okay and with WebP service and Retina optimisations (plus more) it is good idea. The problem I think could be when you get hit by bad bots which hammer the image views limit, however I used this plug-in with the excellent Super Page Cache for Cloudflare (which recommended Optimole) so in theory, so my images are cached by Cloudflare; therefore how can I possibly keep going over the monthly limit?

The other thing I really didn’t like was the fact that it is one of those plugins with the nasty habbit of nagging you as to why you want to deactive it, which when you are already annoyed is pretty iritating.
