I built a Contact Form and told it to Redirect to a page on my website after submission. I am using the Redirect feature in Contact 7. I also have the HT CF7 Extension plug in installed.

Please see the URL above where the process begins. I set up a $1 TEST process. Click on the BUY NOW link at the bottom of the table to get to the Contact Form

After filling out the form and clicking submit, I got a message saying “Popups and Redirects were blocked” with a radio button to “Always Allow…” I clicked the Always Allow and resubmitted the form…it redirected.

BUT…when I try to fill out the form and redirect on another PC…I get the same error message…so it seems the Always Allow is PC specific.

Is there anything I can do to make the Redirect always allowed on ALL PC’s? Is there another plug in extension that I should use?

I am using the redirect to get to a page with a PayPal button so I really need the redirect to work for everyone who submits the form from their PC…otherwise I can’t get paid for the event the person is registering for.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

I am using the AIIX theme.

If you are asking what Contact form 7 related plugins I have, they are:

    1. Contact Form 7
    2. Contact 7 PayPal & Stripe Add On (Scott Paterson).
    3. Extensions for CF7 (Haas Themes)

The problem appears to be the browser (I tried Firefox and Edge) is blocking the redirect from my website…bahiasailracing.com.

I am trying to redirect to a webpage on the site from the Contact Form on another page on the website. I’m using the Redirect settings on the Contact From 7 menu

Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, and clearing all cache data.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    Thanks for your reply…

BUT…the issue of the redirect being blocked is caused by the browser. For example, see the article at https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95472?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop

The same default setting appears on other browsers.

Since Contact 7 has a “Redirect” feature, I am wondering how it works without the computer user physically changing Site Permissions in their browser settings to “Allow Redirects”. How have other Contact 7 users made this feature work…given the browser default setting?

If the answer is that the contact has to change the Site Permissions to Allow Redirects, then the feature will not be of use to me. I simply don’t want to have to tell the user (some who are senior citizens) to change browser settings.

There are plug ins that say they will redirect a Contact 7 form to another webpage…for example, Redirection for Contact Form 7 By Qube One Ltd. or Contact Form 7 Redirects By Geek Code Lab.

Do you know if these plugins get around the browser issue?
