Homepage video not showing on mobile

    Hi there, I have set up a simple website using Neve theme, and the videos on the homepage show on the desktop, but do not load on the mobile.

    Could you please assist?

    Thank you for using Neve!

    Can you tell us what tools did you use in order to add those videos to the homepage? Besides this, it would be worth to see if the issue persists with a default WordPress theme. If it persists, it means that the problem is not related to Neve and it comes from a different source.

    I uploaded the videos directly using the theme template – using the Block Editor option “Video”. I am not using any additional plugins.

    The block you’ve used to add the videos is the Cover block, which is a generic block from WordPress itself, so we don’t have control over it from the theme.

    It is indeed possible, that when using videos, on some mobile devices, those videos to not have enough bandwidth and resources to show up.

    The only suggestion I have is to maybe try using gifs instead of videos, maybe this way fewer resources are needed to display them https://ezgif.com/video-to-gif
