We have been having difficulties connecting our Facebook account to Jetpack. When trying to connect the two, we get a “Jetpack connection is broken” warning. Here’s what we’ve done to troubleshoot:

    • Use Jetpack Debug
      • This gives us “DebugUnknown error – An unknown error has occurred.”
    • Look at the Site Health in WP (Tools > Site Health)
      • Wpcom Connection Test (Jetpack) – is not connected.: 200.
    • Reconnect Jetpack from Site Health
    • Disconnect/Reconnect Jetpack from the Jetpack dashboard
    • Enabled XML-RPC that our host disables by default. It looks as expected

There are no errors in the console. The Jetpack Dashboard says we are connected. Do you have any idea why Jetpack is not connected on our site?

    Hi @stirltech

Can you check the Jetpack connection again? I looked and it was not pointing to the correct endpoint. I directed it to point to the xmlrpc.php file and now the connection looks good on our end.

    Hi?@stirltech,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
