Good afternoon. Following instructions from the hosting provider with LiteSpeed, a login-password was created to connect Memcached object cache. The plugin settings showed extension enabled, connection successful. But after switching on the object cache, immediately a critical error occurred on the site – i.e. no admin panel and the site on the client side categorically refused to work until the LiteSpeed plugin folder was renamed through the file manager. Where to look for the problem? The kernel and plugins are of the latest version. Tested also on another site looking for the culprit of other themes or plugins – but no, it is after turning on the object cache even empty Vorpdress stops working.

there is a known issue for LSMCD + SASL that is not compatible with some sites though.

Thank you very much, that seems to have helped. I’m playing with the settings of what groups to put where….

Unfortunately I had to give up the function. still critical errors occur from time to time. Thank you very much for your support.
