I’m developing this site for my wife and I’m making use of the plugin for a dark background in the block editor. I do not need the plugin to modify the front-end of the site at all. However, after the plugin updated to the 5.0.x branch, the Marketing Buttons block from the Spectra plugin is having it’s text colors overwritten by the plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Following up with additional details … if you visit the page linked above, you’ll find the yellow buttons have white text that should instead have #101010 text. If I disable the plugin, the text displays with the intended color.

I didn’t even realize at first that the dark mode icon in the bottom corner shows up on the front-end of the site even with that feature disabled.

    Hello,

We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by our plugin. Could you please provide screenshots of the button blocks (Marketing) issue along with a description?

Additionally, could you share details about the theme you’re using with the version? We’ll test it on our end and offer a solution or suggestion.

First, when I went to create screenshots tonight I noticed that if I disable the frontend toggle and save the change then reload the settings page that the toggle is enabled again.

To answer your question regarding the WP theme, it is Astra ver 4.6.8.

To provide the button screenshot you requested, here is what it looks like currently with the Dark Mode plugin enabled. Notice that the text is white instead of #101010 as intended. Also notice that the Dark Mode plugin icon is on the bottom right corner of the browser.

This is what things should look like – captured by disabling the Dark Mode plugin.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

We’ve updated to 5.0.2 and 5.0.3 … and I’m still having the exact same issues.

Can you share a screen-recorded video demonstrating the issue with disabling the frontend toggle? We’ve been attempting to replicate the problem on our end but haven’t been successful.

For button color change in dark mode –
The CSS issue is primarily caused by different themes or builders enforcing specific colors. You can fix this using?Custom CSS?if you prefer.

We would like to inform you that “Custom CSS” is a premium feature of our plugin. According to the forum guidelines, support for commercial products is not permitted in the forums. To get support for the premium version of our plugin, kindly contact us through our official support channel.

    Thanks! Have a nice day!

I’ve made a short recording as you requested. In the recording, you’ll see me apply to disable the front-end, then refresh the site to show that the front end has not been disabled, and finally simply reload the plugin settings to show that the front end is, in fact, still enabled.

I’d also like to point out that I shouldn’t need your premium CSS feature if the front end would disable as it used to before updating to the 5.x branch of the plugin.
