With the release of 1.4.2, existing Font Awesome icons that are displayed in the footer, now get overwritten with in-line SVGs, and break the theme CSS.

If you look in the home page HTML, you’ll see the original <i class=”fab fa-facebook-f”></i> gets over-written in JS. If I disable ;Block for Font Awesome’, or use v1.4.1, the problem goes away.

Version 1.4.2 added a new option for local stylesheets.

You can see all the changes here – https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/changeset/3047491/

I did not touch any of the existing libraries. They are being loaded as before. I’m thinking Font Awesome changed something, as I’ve heard they want to”crack down” on unautorized usage.

That being said, I have released a small fix – 1.4.3 – to revert a condition I removed in the previous update. Let me know if it fixes your problem.
