• Hello Yannick, thank you so much for your plugin, it’s very useful, and the only one I found which allows enough filtering.
I’m very sorry that I cannot financially contribute for now.

Maybe you would find some interest in knowing about several little problems that I came across.

    • In the “Long description” field, after saving, the “Visual” tabs displays html code, which means that as soon as you update the Link later, the users will see that html code instead of the “human text”.
    • It seems that when you select pagination (checkbox, and number like 50 for example), then in the pages containing an override forcing to display only a tag (or several), the results are not showing (there are only the list of categories).
    • Even when you select “target=_blank” as default in the settings, when a link is submitted by an external user, this setting is lost and becomes “same page”.
    • I’m not sure that the emails sent to the submitting users are working. I made some tests but did not receive.

    Thanks a lot.
I hope that this plugin will live long.

    1. The Long Description field issue will be resolved in next update.
    2. This issue will be resolved in next update.
    3. Are you talking about the target setting in Global Options? If so, that setting is used to set the default target when creating links in the admin tools. This is why it’s called “Default link target in editor”. To set the default target for links in the library, go to the Links tab of the Library Configuration you’re using and set the Link target field.
    4. Which version did you test with and when did you run these tests? User submissions were broken until Sunday. I just did some testing and am seeing the e-mail go out to users who submit links as long as the E-mail submitter option is checked under the User Submission tab of Library Configurations.

Hello, thank you so much for all that ??

    1. Thanks !
    2. Thanks !
    3. I typed “_blank” where you said, and now it’s OK, thanks ??
    4. Version 7.6.8
I don’t know how to approve or reject the submissions (except with the checkboxes in “moderation”.
I tried today, I approved 2 submissions with the checkboxes, but anyway I did not receive any email, except those sent to me as a moderator.

      Thanks a lot ??

For point #4, are you displaying the submitter e-mail field in your user submission form? It might be obvious, but if it’s not displayed, it won’t know who to e-mail.

The form displays an email field : https://autistan.wiki/add-link/ but strangely this field is always “pre-populated” with the moderators email address… (which is also the WordPress installation/admin email).
So each time I make a test, I have to replace it with a test submitter address…

And in the global settings, in “Moderation”, I’ve left empty the field “Confirmation page address” (because I have no idea what it can be). So maybe this creates a problem…

Thank you very much for the recent corrections to the plugin.

    1. Here are a few other things:
    • The setting to not display empty fields (at the bottom of the “advanced” page in the library configurations) doesn’t seem to work.
    • In the “Search” settings :
      — the setting to search all categories doesn’t seem to work;
      — even if you don’t select “Show searched text in search results”, it’s still highlighted in yellow (but that doesn’t bother me).
    1. More difficult: I can’t use pagination, because in this case when I click a category link in the left-hand column, the corresponding page is displayed but the system seems to “believe” that the page hasn’t scrolled down, which prevents the “back to top” arrow from being displayed. (I’ve tried various settings to no avail.)
    2. As I can’t contribute financially now, I’d still like to put a thank-you text and a link to you at the bottom of the pages. Can you give me an example please?

Thanks a lot for this very useful plugin ??

Sorry about “The setting to not display empty fields (at the bottom of the “advanced” page in the library configurations) doesn’t seem to work.” : now I see the last column at right with boxes for that, it works.

Hello, just to let you know that the feature allowing to filter the tags in the user submissions by using tag ids and commas in the settings does not seem to work…
(I’m trying to make a page showing only the user submissions immediately after they send them, with a special tag only for that).
    Thanks ??
