Doesn’t work with TwentyTwentyFour Theme

    Hello,
    when you use the TwentyTwentyFour Theme and customize something in Website Editor -> Design, for example the Footer, it doesn’t work with an activated Spectra Plugin.

    You are able to open the page, but the loading time is so long that the page crashes sometime. Maybe you are able to make some changes, but it takes hours and mostly the browser tab crashes.

    I tried it with php 8.2 and php 8.3, also with 120mb php memory and 256mb php memory.

    The Website per se is working fine and loading fast. The Problem only occurs in the Website Editor.

    Normal Page editing is also working fine.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

    I am not able to replicate the issue on my installation. Can you please adjust the PHP configuration of your site according to this guide:https://wpastra.com/docs/modify-your-php-configuration/ and check?

    Thanks for your fast reply.
    I tested your settings and it’s working for a couple of time but then it start lagging again until you can’t do anything.

    The other installed Plugins are
    – Contact Form 7
    – eRecht24 Rechtstexte für WordPress

    I use WordPress 6.4.3 with the TwentyTwentyFour Theme and have all updates.

    When I deaktivate Spectra everything works fine.
    And again it works fine when I work on normal sites, but when you open the Website Editor and want, for example, to change the colors or want to edit the header it starts lagging.

    Hi @dpc91,

    Please ensure that there are no browser extensions enabled like Grammarly, and turn off the template button from the Spectra dashboard: https://wpspectra.com/docs/spectra-enable-disable-templates-button/ . And don’t forget to clear all the caches including the server-side cache.
