On my FAQ page, I added my custom accordion blocks for FAQs instead of using the Yoast FAQ block. In the Yoast Schema settings, I selected ‘FAQ page’ as Page Type. My understanding is that the Missing field “mainEntity” error is because of Yoast not being able to pick the correct JSON-LD schema structure for FAQ page from my custom accordion block.

What do I need to include in the HTML of my custom accordion blocks so that Yoast can auto-generate the JSON-LD schema from my custom block? My accordion blocks has a question and answer structure just like what the Yoast FAQ block includes.

Alternatively, I can generate my own JSON-LD schema and add it to the page header but how do I replace the default Yoast schema with my custom schema only on the FAQ page?

    Hello @wrip,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. The?Missing field “mainEntity”?error?is because you have marked the page as an FAQ Page in the Yoast SEO schema settings but have not used the Yoast SEO FAQ blocks. To resolve the error:
