    Hello,

I configured some server-side cron jobs using WGET.

Wordfence seems to apply a block on the website itself, and as a result CronJobs are not being executed. I whitelisted the server IP but this didn’t work.

Do you have any recommendation regarding this matter?

Hi @natasacy, thank you for reaching out to us.

A block is possible although not a common issue, and some platforms such as Cloudflare and Litespeed require extra configuration. Wordfence utilizes cron jobs for a number of its own tasks and would not be blocking those in most cases.

To see if any blocks are occurring directly, you can reference Live Traffic (Wordfence > Tools > Live Traffic), as well as your access logs.

If that doesn’t point you in the right direction, can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thank you!
    Margaret
