    The issue is not solved

    Dear Support Team,

I am writing for a clarification regarding the use of your sitemap plugin on my WordPress site. Specifically, I need assistance with two key tasks:

    1. Excluding Specific Pages: I require guidance on how to exclude certain specific pages (not posts) from being listed in the sitemap. There are pages on my WordPress site that I prefer not to be indexed.
    2. Adding New Pages: Additionally, I have recently added new pages to my WordPress site that are not currently appearing in the sitemap. Could you please advise me on how to ensure these pages are included?

This is a follow-up request seeking more detailed human assistance to ensure my requirements are clearly understood and met. Your prompt and detailed guidance would be highly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    1. If there are pages you don’t want to be indexed, the sitemap is not the way to prevent this. You must either add the URLs to robots.txt or add the appropriate meta tags to each post.
    2. Are you saying the published pages do not appear automatically in the sitemap?

Thank you for your response to my previous inquiry. I have two specific follow-up questions regarding the functionality of your sitemap plugin:

    1. Direct Removal of Specific Pages and URLs: Can you please confirm if your plugin allows the direct removal of individual pages and specific URLs from the sitemap? This feature is crucial for my site management, and I need to know whether it’s possible with your plugin.
    2. Adding an Indexed Page to the Sitemap: Additionally, I have a page that is currently indexed in Google but does not appear in the sitemap. Could you guide me on how to include this already indexed page in the sitemap? It is important for maintaining consistency in my site’s SEO.

A clear and direct response to these queries will greatly assist me in managing my website effectively. If these features are not supported, I may need to consider alternative options.

    Thank you for your understanding

    1. Yes, per the FAQ, you can add URLs in the Exclude section if you desire.
    2. You didn’t answer my prior question, so I’m unable to give you the best guidance. Again, do published pages not appear automatically in the sitemap?

    Hi,

Regarding your second point, yes, I have created a new page, but it is not present in the sitemap. On the other hand, I can’t delete the pages from the sitemap using the “Exclude post” tab.

If you’re using the latest version, I’d like to invite you to submit the results from the debug tool via email so we can get to the bottom of this quickly.
