How to only show “product tag” in single product meta

    Hi, I’m planning to use product tag as my brand tag. In the customization under single product, when meta is toggled, it displays both product categories and tags. I wonder if there’s a way to only show product tag? Showing both is abit overwhelming as each product is under alot of categories.

    This could save me another brand plugin. Thanks

    It wouldn’t be possible to achieve this without additional code, I’m afraid. That’s because the tag/category section is closely linked by WooCommerce’s internal code.

    However, I can say that we already have brands in Blocksy Pro – https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/woocommerce/product-brands/. Built right into the theme, you get quite a few options to personalise how these look and interact with your products. Have you given it a look?

    Hi, i’m aware of pro user comes with brand feature. It’s ok. I just wanna know what’s the base slug will be? Just in case i switch to pro in the future as i’ll use product attribute for this purpose for now.

    Will it be .com/brand/ ? Thanks

    Yep, the /brand/ slug will be added to URLs, which can be easily changed via the Settings -> Permalinks pane – https://ibb.co/5kDBkL0
