    Hi,

Since version 8.7.0, we’ve been experiencing issues with order processing. An error message appears as a note on the order card, preventing conclusion of the orders.

Reverting back to version 8.6.1 resolves the issue and restores normal operation.

Could you please assist in resolving this issue so that we can use the latest version?

    Thank you.

Having similar issue after updating to 8.7.0. Not everybody though as still seeing transactions go through but some customers are getting generic error – “an error occurred,? please try again or try an alternate form of payment.” Only started after update. Don’t want to revert back to 8.6.1 but might have to. I thought it was related to browser update compatibility but we ruled that out as well. Very strange why some but not others.

    Hi paltmanfedmed,
    Thank you for sharing!
In our case we do not even see the transactions! We did not notice that untill one of our clients wrote in the chat and mentioned that!
Ufortunately for us there is no way rather than rolling back to 8.6.1!

I hope the support team make this bug fix soon!

    Bests,

I’ve got 8.7 wich causes an error too. I had to deactivate Woocommerce using FTP cause the error made the page unaccessable. Does anyone know, how I can roll back to 8.6 without deleting the plugin? And without the opportunity to activate the plugin while it’s still on 8.7? Would be nice not to be forced to build the whole shop again only because of this issue.

    Hi @erfanit,

This sounds like it may be a compatibility issue with the new version. Would you mind sharing more details to help us dig deeper into this issue? For instance, which payment gateway are you using? Do you use the checkout block on the checkout page? Is there a specific pattern that triggers this error?

Additionally, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here.

    Hi @paltmanfedmed,

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same issue. However, to align with?forum best practices, please create a new topic so that we can address your issue(s) separately. Make sure to include all the details requested above.

You can create a new thread here.

    Hey @amramij,

Your issues seem different. Rolling back to a previous version of WooCommerce without deleting the plugin can be done using a plugin like WP Rollback.

However, since you can’t access your dashboard and deactivate via FTP, you can download and upload an older version using FTP. This will only change the plugin files, leaving your settings as they are.

As a friendly reminder, it’s always a good idea to back up your site before making any changes. This way, you can avoid any potential data loss.

If you continue to have issues, please create a new thread here.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
