• Hello, I am trying to centre align an image in my header, but cannot find a way to do this.

I have tried using the html tag <center> but nothing seems to work.

Can anyone offer any help please?

    Thank you in advance

  • Hi there,

The reason that you can’t edit the logo to centralize is because you would need to add a row block only for the logo, so it won’t show with other elements in the same row. After that, you can centralize this element.

In order to do that, my recommendation is for you to use the List View. I recorded an example of doing that:

thank you, I never thought of just adding it as an image, the only downside is that I have to manually add it for each page instead of the header automatically including it when I add a new page.

Hey @kivetongym! You can add the image to the header template itself, and then it will show up on every page that uses the header.

You can check out this article about customizing template parts like header and footer.

Thanks Kavya, that is what I have done, i am trying to get it to centre on the page, but I am not sure about using css, so I dont know what to type and where to add things.

This is the site I am slowly putting together to help you understand.

Addition, When I go in to the header section, I have centered the image, but on the live webpage (link in previous message) it shows as left justified.

I have tried to add images to show this, but I cannot add an image as it only shows a link to a site.

    Any ideas?

Hi @kivetongym – I see at the moment that you have that image set to be aligned ‘Full width’. If you go to edit the header, and that image – are you able to try setting the alignment to be ‘Center’ instead?

I’d expect this would center the image, but likely make it smaller in the page.

Hi, thanks for your comments, I have attached a couple of images showing how it looks in the settings part and also shows how I have centered the image, but on the website itself, it left aligns.

For the resolution, there is no center option only full, medium or thumbnail size. In the 2nd screen it clearly shows that it is centered, but its not reflected in the actual live site.

l am puzzled, the html is between the 2 images.

    thanks for your help

Hi @kivetongym – those images don’t seem to be attached – are you able to just share simple links to them?

I see you mentioned ‘resolution’ – which is a setting on the sidebar. In terms of alignment – I’m more referring to the setting which appears in the toolbar above the image:
