• It seems that the code block is no longer registered in Gutenberg after updating to WordPress v6.5.

Existing blocks register on the front end, but are broken on the backend prompting the user to convert to HTML. Searching for the block to add in a post yields no results.

Thanks for reporting this. I’ll follow up on it today.

I tried to reproduce it but couldn’t get it to break. I added a code block on 6.4, updated WP, then went back to the page.

It could be a specific setting maybe (I’ll keep trying combinations), or a conflict with another plugin. Can you check the browser console for error messages? Have any other idea what could be breaking it?

    Hey Kevin,

I’ve run through a conflict check and determined that the cause is Oxygen Builder. There are no relevant logs, front or backend, that I can find.

I’m able to work around this for now (disable this plugin from loading in Gutenberg).

It was working previously, so it seems that it’s a combo of 6.5+Oxygen.

Thank you for the quick response and incredible plugin.

Ah ok. I just made a release now. Not sure if that changed anything but I did tweak some of the loading sequence. I’ll make a note to check on Oxygen Builder and will follow up with what I can figure out.

I am getting this as well in 6.5.3 to access my admin pages. If I delete the wp-cerber folder, all is well. if I restore it, the site breaks again, if I delete, and reinstall from the latest zip, site breaks again. The break happens immediately after restore of the folder and a refresh of the admin page, and when I upload the zip file and try to activate, it immediately breaks and I lose all access, and have to go delete the wp-cerber folder to regain access.

I have another site on 6.4.4 and its fine with wp-cerber, so something is definately wrong in the plugin. that is does not like in 6.5.3.

I don’t see any conflicts or other errors, or plugins misfiring.

So for time being I have it deleted until this is sorted out.

Plug Ins I am using are:

    CloudFlare Version 4.12.7

Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA Version 2.4.16

Dark Mode for WP Dashboard Version 1.2.3

    Extendify Version 1.13.5

    FluentSMTP Version 2.2.73

My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager Version 3.5.1

    PDF Poster Version 2.1.21

    Quick Contact Form Version 8.0.6.10

    Robo Gallery Version 3.2.19

    Wordfence Security 7.1.15

Just to be clear @scswenka are you using code-block-pro or did you end up here on a Google search and meant to post on the wp-cerber forums?
