How to change uploaded media view

  • When I go to insert media into a page and click on Uploaded media, it shows a grid of pictures. How can I change that to see file names instead (or both)?

    Note: Just to be clear, this is not the Media option on the side panel. That I can change.

    When you click on upload, WP opens a file browser window on your computer. How that window looks is a function of your operating system and preferences and is external to WordPress.

    I’m sorry, I meant the Media Library.
