Hello. The plugin dont generate the Thumbnails. The folder /wp-content/uploads/video-wc-gallery-thumb already exist, but no images there. I`d try versions 1.30 and 1.27. WordPress v.6.4.3</p> <p class=””>And have one more question. Maybe you can recommend some plugin Slider Gallery, that can see your plugin and show video in gallery. Because now I saw video only in Woocommerce standard gallery. When activate some Slider plugin – no video. Maybe it`s because of no Thumbnails?

    Thanks for answear

    Hi,

Once you select a video file from your gallery in the product settings and save it, thumbnails should automatically be generated.

If this does not happen, there may be conflicts with some other plugins you are using. Do you have any errors, if any send them to me. If possible, a link to your site.

Dont have any errors. I deactivate all gallery plugins, so now is only woocommerce gallery. Video is the first with no Thumbnails. Link to page https://test8.my-insta.space/product/kompleks-dlia-dohliadu-za-hubamy/

From what I can see from your site, it’s most likely something custom made by you. The plugin is made to work with standard elements that come from the WooCommerce plugin. You are missing them, most likely you made a custom theme or there is another plugin that changes and creates a conflict. If you can’t use the basic elements of WooCommerce, sorry and Video Gallery for WooCommerce won’t work for you.

Woocommerce plugin was installed in standard version. Template has no effect to plugin. Ok, maybe I`ll fix it by myself. Is there an option for your plugin to work with any Gallery Slider Plugin?

I know WooCommerce installed because otherwise you won’t be able to use the plugin. But there is something that has changed the main html elements, that’s why I say it is possible another plugin or you are doing something custom for it to work correctly you have to stick to the main WooCommerce gallery.

The plugin works with Flexslider which has it built into the WooCommerce plugin.
Not tested with other Gallery Slider Plugins because it has one built in.

Thank you so much for your time. You did a very good job developing this plugin. Especially on free terms.

Hello again)) Now in site is standard woocommerce slider gallery. But Thumbnails also dont generate. I think the problem is in folder video-wc-gallery-thumb. Because after plugin was activate, there was an error and I must create this folder by myself. Maybe you have a solution?

Or another way, can I add thumb-image one for each video like square with play-icon? In what file I can do this? I mean like this <img src=”path_to_img_thum.png”>

    Hi,

I won’t be able to help you like that, if you want to leave your email, I’ll write to you and you can give me access or export the site and the database and send them to me, I’ll build it locally at my place so I can debug it.

Also if you can test by creating a new site with a clean install and installing only the plugin and WooCommerce that way we will be able to validate if the problem is from some custom code or theme

@martinvalchev You need to confirm that you will not access even a test or copy site. If you do not, then you may lose access to these forums.

Please take this seriously and reply that you understand and will not do that.

While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves. That’s how we get the next generation of developers.

I confirm that I did not gain access to the site! I’ll try to help him here and make it visible. Please excuse me.

My last message had been delete. So I`d install to another domain nulled WordPress + Woocommerce free template + Woocommerce + Your plugin + create folder /wp-content/uploads/video-wc-gallery-thumb. Create the Product + Upload the video-file and no thumb again ((</p> <p class=””>I`d try several plugin versions – the same situation.

Can you get information from the Health Check plugin? Also can you check the permissions of the folder video-wc-gallery-thumb you need to make it writable and readable from it if you have restricted it
