    Hello

I’m wondering if I’m the only one getting this error!

Whenever I delete an element inside the Columns Block, I get the following error “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”

I’m using a Block Theme (Spectra One) but I tried with classic themes including the Blocksy Theme and I get the same error.

I also tried on fresh wordpress installation and I get the same error.

    Any explanation?

    Here’s a scrrenshot.

    Hi @alamiomar,

    Thank you for the details!

We have tried to replicate the issue on our end but the problem doesn’t seem to happen.

Could you please try deactivating your plugins to check if the problem still occurs with only Stackable activated? This is so we can rule out any possible conflicts with a plugin.

Please also make sure you are using the latest version of Stackable. ??

Thanks again, we’ll wait for your update!

    Hi @bernicechua,

    Thank you for your answer.

To reply to your suggestion, indeed, as I mentioned I tried with a fresh installation with only Stackable installed as a plugin but I get the same error.

As an update, it seems like this problem only occurs when editing a page with Firefox.
I opened the editor with the same page in Microsoft Edge and I don’t get this error when deleting a block inside the Columns Block.

But the thing is, I use Firefox as my main browser and I work with diffrent block editor plugins (Spectra, Kadence, Essential Blocks, GetWid…etc) and I don’t have any issue when working with the blocks or when conducting the usual operations (copying, deleting…etc)

    Hey @bfintal

Thank you for the update, it did indeed solve the problem.

Unfrotunately, there’s still another issue I forgot to mention in my first post, and this happens not only in Firefox but also in Microsoft Edge.

I still get the same error when using the “Transform to Columns” or “Transform to Group” option when multiple blocks are selected (see screenshots below).

Again, I noticed this only happens when the blocks in question are “Columns” or use the “Inner Column” as a nested block, like the blocks: Feature, Feature Grid, Carousel…etc.

    Hey @alamiomar and @jayjones911411,

The issue of transforming blocks to columns causing block errors has been fixed in version 3.12.16. Please update to the latest version of Stackable and let us know how it goes.

Thank you for waiting patiently for this fix!
