I’ve read through similar topics here but I can’t seem to find an answer. Sorry if I missed something. Anyway, my shop’s products are made-to-order via Printful, so I have no quantity. The issue is I’m getting warnings on Facebook’s shop about this. I could’ve sworn this wasn’t an issue in the past but it’s been like this for maybe a year. I obviously don’t care about it too much since I don’t think I sell much on FB, but maybe that’s why. It’s still an issue. A solution is to manually go into FB and change the quantity to number like 999999 but I’d prefer not to do that one by one on every product and its variants. And just to make clear the product is created on Printful, then sent to Woocommerce, which then sends it to Facebook.

  • Hello silentkv

    Thank you for contacting us.

Please note that products must be in stock as per Facebook Policy to be able to sync.
For more details check this guide.

My understanding is that you will need to update the stock of all products periodically.
To speed up this process you export all products in a CSV file, update the Stock field, and then import the CSV file back into your WooCommerce site. This will save you a lot of time and effort.

To learn more about import and export process, check out this guide.
Let me know if you have any questions. ??

    Best regards.

    Hello,

I prefer not to mess around with CSVs as everything is already automated. My products do sync but just show as being out of stock. I did notice that I have checkout through Facebook enabled, which I forgot I tried. So that may be the issue. I’m going to try switching back to my website’s even if it is just for a few days until we’re forced to use theirs. Is there any plans to integrate their checkouts with Woocommerce, so we can continue to sell through Facebook?

    Hi @silentkv,

It’s possible that the issue might be related to the Facebook checkout integration. Switching back to your website’s checkout might resolve the issue, as it isn’t supported yet. More details on this can be found here.

As for Facebook’s checkout integration with WooCommerce, we are continuously working to improve and expand our integrations. However, as of now, we don’t have specific information about plans to integrate Facebook’s checkout directly.

We highly recommend not selecting the Facebook/Instagram checkout option when creating a Facebook/Instagram shop or commerce account associated with the Facebook for WooCommerce extension catalog.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.

It seems like they’re not allowing me to switch over. So it is what it is.

    Hi @silentkv,

It seems like they’re not allowing me to switch over. So it is what it is.

Are you able to remove the connection entirely and set it up again from scratch, selecting the website checkout option? Please let us know!

One of our clients has this exact same issue.

I’ve checked the other threads and I can verify we have:

    1. a theme with no conflicts
    2. no other plugin conflicts
    3. a catalog originally created for on-website checkout, before they switched over to requiring FB checkout
    4. Other products that are NOT from Printful showing in-stock OK
    5. No per-product stock overrides
    6. Hide out of stock products enabled in settings
    7. Manual Sync attempted, no difference

    Any solutions?

    Hello @mystyleplatform,

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same issue.

However, to align with?forum best practices, please create a new topic so we can address your issue(s) separately. You can create a new thread here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/facebook-for-woocommerce/#new-topic-0

    Thanks for understanding!

Actually I was able to solve it thanks to this article Fix for Instagram Store Products Out of Stock After WooCommerce Sync (Facebook for WooCommerce Plugin)

Basically Facebook for WooCommerce is using this “Available for Sale” quantity number that overrides everything else and defaults to 0, and WooCommerce does not set this value, allowing it to stay default to 0. FB for Woo should just be setting that value to something rather than nothing when a product is in-stock, like just default to 99999999, and this entire issue would be fixed.

Either that or on the Facebook store side, they need to use “In Stock” to supersede this other field they created “Available for Purchase” and not just default it to 0.

    Hey, @mystyleplatform!

I’m glad to hear you were able to solve the issue!

Thank you for sharing the solution here and contributing to the WooCommerce Community. This might help other users. ??

    Have a wonderful day!
