FORCE_SSL_ADMIN insecure thumbnails in media library error

  • I have FORCE_SSL_ADMIN turned on so that all backend pages of my site a protected. However, the media library and the insert from media library screen have insecure thumbnails nonetheless, causing IE to say “Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?” and provided unintuitive yes/no options.

    How can I get those thumbnails to load with https? Am I doing something wrong?
