    Team,

    The form will not let me submit it is saying:

    There was a problem with your submission. Errors are marked below.
    Your entry appears to be blocked spam!

    I have done the following:

    • Deactivated all form spam functionality that I know of including:
    • Turned off Javascript spam detection
    • Changed Honeypot to “OFF”
    • Removed recaptcha from the form
    • I’ve removed my test form entries from formidable
    • The form field contents are all viable (real non-spammy) text

    And still it will not let me submit the form – so I’m unable to test the form at all.

    Please how do I submit the form so I can test? Is there a cache somewhere I can clear? Or is my ip saved somewhere that it is blocking it? Or is it blocking my entire domain used in the email field?

    Any help is huge, thank you

    Ok I found the issue. After 3 hours:

    For some reason if I kept the word “moz” in the “Disallowed Comment Keys” field, it was being flagged as spam (even though I don’t have that text in any of my form fields), so my guess is maybe it’s being added on the backend.

    So if anyone is having this problem:

    In addition to the above,
    Remove all your “Disallowed Comment Keys” and add them back little by little until you find the issue,

    Got exactly the same issue. Wether what i do the form wont let me send it. Tried to create a new one (my own), used the basic form which is standard … nothing works. No send possible “There was a problem with your submission. Errors are marked below.

    Well. To me it appears that Formidable cuts off any mail because i havent activated any Captcha. I dont WANT to use any of the offer there, nor reCaptcha, not turnstile or hCaptcha. I have another plugin which works great…so why use any of these?

    To me this renders the Testversion of Formidable useless as i cannot test it. I cannot find any “Disallowed Comment Keys” anywhere so where should i disable them as Tison mentioned above…

    Another plugin testing hours for nothing. Gonna delete it again. So bad.

    I apologize for the issue you experienced on your website. I just wanted you to know that CAPTCHA solutions are optional and should not cause this issue if they are missing.

    This error message indicates that there is a keyword in the “Disallowed Comment Keys” box that can be found on the Settings > Discussion from your WordPress Dashboard – or that a 3rd party spam protection plugin has hooked into this same functionality.

    Please check that this box is empty – even deleting any errant spaces – and see if that helps.

    If not, please temporarily disable any other spam protection plugins (Cleantalk, Akismet, Jetpack, etc.) to test if the form submits correctly. Once you identify which plugin is causing the issue, you can update the settings within that plugin.
