Hotlinked images

  • I have several images getting hotlinked via the Cloudflare CDN. They don’t show up in my Cloudflare images, but they are rather offloaded to CF through the Offload plugin. I have hotlink protection turned on. Do you know how to prevent this? If I simply turn off offload and then reload it, will it create a new CDN URL?? Trying to figure out the best workaround.

    Hi @tanjasue,

    If you’re concerned about changing of the URL when images get re-uploaded to Cloudflare, then yes, by default the image ID will be unique every time you re-upload. However, if you enable the option “Keep media library structure”, it will keep the image ID consistent across re-uploads.
