• To me it is nonsense. For you as a developer it would cost you just a checkbox to hide our admin URL.

For your information we had a huge attack on our admin page and after changing the URL using an another plugin, we managed to reduce it for 99%.

So basically what you said is wrong and I have not idea why you guys are against changing your block page.

We considered to get your paid version of your plugin but still this is the same none-sense with the paid version.

If you would like to advertise your plugin this is not the right way!

    Hello, @aioex

    Thanks for the feedback.

Wordfence does not include the functionality to change the admin URL being that we do not believe it is beneficial to use long term. Some users may find it to be helpful in certain cases for a short period of time.

That said, there is also a risk of breaking the functionality of themes and plugins due to making these changes.

Changing the login URL also does not protect against attacks via XML-RPC, which accounts for more than 50% of login attempts.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via a new topic here in the forums.

    Thanks,
    Scott
