Hello, I just updated to version Version 4.6.1.1 and am having an issue now when I go to create a new post I can not get the post tile to change from “Article #1” when I go into edit the post, and the post slug is strange and reveals a path that is related to the Divi Theme I use (Example https://mydomain/et_pb_layout/article-1-2/).

I try to update the title and slug and click update but it keeps reverting to the same thing. Also, when you go to all posts dashboard and click the “Quick Edit” link and try to change the title and slug there, they remain as edited, but then when you click the “edit” link to edit the post and the title remains ‘Article #1″.

This issue is most definitely a cause and effect of your latest plugin update when I deactivate your plugin all is well again.

Here are some links to screenshots.

Can you please fix this asap.

    Hello,

Are there any admins available to acknowledge and respond to this?

    Hey @card-one-concepts,

I didn’t respond to you yet because I have a developer that is actively investigating the issue you reported and I wanted us to have a detailed answer for you.

So far, we believe there is a plugin conflict between All in One SEO and the Divi Modules Pro plugin. Are you using that Divi addon by any chance?

Either way, if you’d like for us to take a look and help us troubleshoot the issue faster, please feel free to reach out to us directly via our Basic Question form here. You can ask for Filipe C. to take a look at your ticket.

    Hello @arnaudbroes,

Thank you for your reply and looking into this. I do not use that Divi enhancement plugin. But, I do use several other Divi enhancements that it did not occur to me to test for conflicts with those plugin because when this issue occurred, it happened after updating your plugin and pointed to Divi being an issue in some way.

So, I did more troubleshooting and did discover that there is a conflict with your plugin and Divi Plus.

So I will reach out to their support. However, considering the issue arose after updating your plugin, it would seem the conflict started there. So with knowing what the conflict is now, if your developer could look into this further to see if it a solution that must occur on your end or there end I would appreciate it.

    Thank you for your time.

I’m experiencing the same issue with Divi and version 4.6.1.1 of AIO SEO. All other plug-ins are at their latest version and only after I update AIO SEO, this issue occurs. I don’t use Divi Plus.

When editing, the permalink points to a lay-out item (it shows ‘et_pb_layout’ as part of the slug) and AIO SEO doesn’t load on the page.

I hope you can fix this. Thanks.

    Hey @card-one-concepts, @jrooswinkel,

We should have a fix for this issue. Can you both please try out this beta build and see if that fixes the issue for you?

I’ve installed it and it seems to fix the issue. Well done! Thanks!

    Hello,

I tested this in my staging environment and it has fixed the issue. I am not sure if I should use the beta version on the live site?

When do you plan to roll this out as an actual update?

Thank you so much for your help and your time with this.

    Hey @card-one-concepts,

You can safely use the beta, this is just 4.6.1.1 with the fix added to it. We’ll officially roll out the fix in our next update, which is going out next week on Friday.
