Header disappears on search

this response makes no sense. when one clicks on the icon, everything goes blank and there is no box into which one can insert any search term. This never happened before. I changed nothing and now this issure

To understand the feature, please check the demo link we provided and compare it with your site. Your search box, header area, and icons have the same color, so you misunderstood the feature.

In any case I have gone through the procedure below and it does nothing to make stop the search icon from making the header blank. that search icon has been in sidebar right.

We have checked the latest version’s color options and found that the individual page’s Primary menu color options are not working. Still, we have a feature to customize the color from the customizer option, which is working fine.Please go to your dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Header & Navigation >> Primary Menu >> Scroll down to the style section and change the color according to your needs. Our upcoming theme update will fix the individual primary color menu feature.

In the ivory search settings I made a change to enable ivory search in the primary menu.

I went to sidebar right where ivory search was called, and deleted it.

Now I can search from the primary menu but, the ivory search menu still appears to the right of the primary menu. And clicking on it makes the header go blank.

In the dashboard that icon does not show. But it shows on the published web page.

How do I get rid of that icon.

I have tried changing colors. The only thing that happens is the menu color changes. When on clicks on the ivory search icon, the header goes blank.

So I went to the ivoryh search settings and enabled showing ivory search in the primary menu. In the priary menu, one can search and the header acts normally.

As a next step I removed Ivory search from the right sidebar.

In the customize section, the icon no longer shows. However, when the changes are published, the icon remains to the right of the ivory search in the primary menu. And if one clicks on that icon, the header goes blank.

Why is the icon on the published page but not in the customize section?

How do I get rid of that icon?

And once again, changing colors does not affect that icon.
