• Hello..

    This may be a simple thing to do but the admin panel is making it hard for me.

    My thumbnail images are 250 x 400 and I’m using them for the “featured image” for each post for a specific category. I call the thumbnail in the post with if(has_post_thumbnail()) {the_post_thumbnail();}

    It gives me an image, but no matter how much I resize and crop it to the size I want, or even if I tell it to use the “original size”, it still gives me the specifications it wants me to have.

    See here: https://sociallyaffluent.com/wp-25-teaser/

    If you scroll down to the content area, you see the images cut off.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • The post thumbnail image dimensions are set by your theme. You cannot select a specific size via the Admin interface.

    Hello esmi..

    sorry for the late response…

    If the thumbnail image dimensions are controlled by the theme, then where would I go to set the sizes? I don’t see anything in the themes ‘function.php’ file.
