I have many visitors who come to our website via bunte-suche.de. They have not been shown in the list for two days.

Visitors and page views are counted in Insights, Compare and Pages.

What could be the cause of this and how can I fix the error?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Do you have any ip-blocks active on the site? (in the Burst settings I mean)

No, I only excluded my own IP address.

Basically, I haven’t changed anything in the settings since setting up the plugin

Burst does not exclude referrers. It is of course possible the origin website has changed something. I don’t see a strict referrer policy on their website, but it is possible there’s something else that has been changed.

To check what the issue is, you can first check if you see the same thing from visits you do yourself, by removing the ip exclude, and clicking on the link on the other website. This way you can check if it can be reproduced.

There can be two options: the hit is not tracked at all, or it is tracked, but without the referrer. If you can share what the result is, we can decide how to investigate further.

Thank you for your comment. Although I haven’t changed anything – neither on the website nor in the burst settings – I get the referrers listed again today.

I will continue to monitor the results and come back to the problem if necessary.

Strange, but glad to hear it’s working again.
