Please note that our plugin only adds the ALT text to the images that don’t have it in the Media Library or the image block setting. If the image already has the ALT text, our plugin will not replace it. Please check if the image already has the ALT text and remove it to use the ALT text from our plugin.

Also, the variable you are using is incorrect. The parent_title will return the title of the post’s parent page. You should use the %title% variable to add the title of the post.

Yes, you are right, this is the problem. However I have a problem with %title%, it doesn’t bring me the title at all, what is after it looks good but the place for the title is empty

Are you using some sort of templated content or page builder for your pages?

Also, the %title% variable will return the current page’s title, not the titles or headings you added to the content. That’s the reason you see the same alt values in your images.

As for the empty alt, the affected product URL you shared is throwing a “Page not found” so we aren’t able to check the issue.?

Just keep in mind that our auto alt text generator will only work for images that are inside the post or page content. If that image is outside the content, say for example, navigations, templates, footers and so on, it will not work.

Unfortunately the answer doesn’t help me at all. You have not given any solution.

This is exactly the problem, the backend is not set to ALT img and yet it is brought up on the images without bringing up the rank mache SEO settings. Can I send you in an email an account to check?

The addition of ALT texts to images is done dynamically, and the actual ALT texts of the images do not change. That means that if you change these settings and go inside the WordPress gallery, the images will still not have any ALT text. But if you check the ALT text on an actual post, you will find it, as Rank Math applies the ALT text at runtime.

You may need to check if there’s a plugin or if your theme adds the ALT attributes to your images so Rank Math can do that feature on your site.
