• This problem must be viewed on a phone. I am using the Twenty-Twenty-Three theme (child). When I click on the two horizontal lines to get to the menu, all formatting is lost. Once a link is clicked the formatting is fine.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’m not sure what you mean by formatting lost. I have tried to recreate it for myself. Using the mobile menu does not change the display of the website as far as I can see.

The website currently has a cream colored background. When I click on the ‘hamburger’ menu, the menu becomes vertical (which is fine), but it is a white background. Thank you for your reply!

This means that nothing is broken, it just doesn’t look the way you want it to. The responsible setting only sets the background colour to white for the mobile menu.

To change this, you have to edit the header template under Appearance > Editor and call up the navigation block there. Here you can set the style for the background (I think it should be called “Dropdown- and Overlay-Style”).
