    Dear Support,
the Statify plugin causes a design issue: The menu on my website has a bug. It occurs in the mobile view on the cell phone.

I press the hamburger icon. The menu appears briefly and then disappears again. When I press it again, the menu appears and remains visible as it should.

I have recorded an 11 second video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/E6JZ5LGDxh4oFiQq5

It doesn’t appear every time, but it feels like every 2nd time I call up the website.

The support team of my Theme provide (Thrive Themes) investigated the issue and wrote me: “Upon investigating your site found that the issue is with the?Statify Plugin?that you are using, I deactivated the plugin and the issue is resolved. As there is a conflict because of this 3rd party plugin please reach out to the plugin author for further debugging, or just deactivate the plugin.”

Could you check why Statify causes this issue with the mobile menu on Thrive Themes?

    Kind regards,
    Dennis

    Hi @dennistr1

well, our plugin is free and Thrive themes is a paid product, so we can’t further debug anything, because we can’t reproduce the issue. If the error disappears if Statify is deactivated, this does not necessarily mean we are the problem. It could be their fault, a third-party which is conflicting or just a coincidence. Without more information why it breaks, it is just a meaningless assumption from them to dismiss your support question.

I have no idea why a very small tracking snippet should have any impact on a mobile menu. I see the snippet, so the plugin is active, but I don’t see the problem (FF on Mac and Mobile Safari on iPhone).

On which device, operating system and browser do you see this problem? Is the problem persistent, or does it disappear again after reload?

    Hi Torsten,

    thanks for your response.

The issue appears on mobile phones. In my case, it’s an iPhone 15, and I’m using Chrome. The Thrive support tested it on an Android phone.

I recorded another short video to demonstrate: https://photos.app.goo.gl/e6fXqHAJL6xh3RNz7 (Please ignore the audio).

The first time clicking on the hamburger button, the menu disappears again (not each time I load the website, but most of my trials). The next time clicking on the hamburger button, the menu is stable, as it must be.

    Kind regards,
    Dennis

    Hi @dennistr1

this has nothing to do with Statify. You have a loading issue. If you wait long enough, the toggle works flawlessly. If you click on the logo/reload the page and hit instantly the toggle, it opens the menu, but as it initializes the script, the menu will be closed. Try it yourself and you will see it. This even works on desktop (if you make the browser window small enough).

You need to debug the JS (or Thrive Themes should do that) and why it does not have safeguards for that …

    All the best

    Hi Torsten,

thanks a lot for your patience and help. The Thrive support checked the issue again and confirmed, it’s not related to Statify. They confirmed, there is some loading issue.

    Thanks and all the best,
    Dennis
