    HI.
    Suddenly, the courses are no longer available to the students who purchased them (also if I subscribe them manually).
    I just did a test and purchased two courses which are present on the “My courses” page but when I click on the single course (purchased) I find the “Get the course” button instead of “Start the course”.
    Basically, it’s inviting me to buy it again.


    The plugin and theme are updated:
    – MasterStudy LMS WordPress v.3.3.11
    – MasterStudy LMS – Online Courses, eLearning PRO v.4.4.9
    – STM Configurations v4.6.14

    What should I do?

    I found in your Facebook Community that with the last update (v3.3.11) other users has experienced the same issue. For me is urgent to solve this problem because my customers that has buying the courses are phoning me very ungry, and I don’t know what to answer them.

    Hello,

    Recently we included fix for the Paid Membership Pro feature when the pricing plan ends course won’t be available for the student. You need to make sure that the admin or students didn’t cancel subscriptions. In case the issue is still there, please provide your email, and our support agents will contact you via email and check your case in detail by checking your site

    We don’t have the “Membership” function, users purchase courses, not subscriptions. Since last week we haven’t changed anything and the system stopped working on its own with the latest update.
    My email is [email protected], the website is corsidipsicologia.com.
    However, the problem is not just mine: on the page https://www.facebook.com/groups/masterstudylms/ there are other users who complain about the same problem. I am a web agency and I used your plugin (PRO version) for one of my clients, who is now very angry because she is losing money and making a terrible impression on her students.

    Thank you for the details shared, we detected and discussed already your case with the QA and dev team. Please check the Enrolled courses section as well, there courses should be available. Our developers are working on this unexpected issue. It will be fixed ASAP

    On our website the courses are also not longer available for the customers and they are upset now. It is since your update and not a matter of a individual setting in a website. So the cause is the new update. So what can we do before all the customers run away?

    Hi. I’m having this exact issue too with this last update.

    In my particular case, I have the PMP plugin (we were about to start testing with subscriptions) but no subscriptions set up so far. With the last update, it showed over every regular course in the student dashboard the message “membership is not active”. Until this last update, having PMP never gave me an issue with regular curses.
    The plugin and theme were updated:
    – MasterStudy LMS WordPress v.3.3.11
    – MasterStudy LMS – Online Courses, eLearning PRO Plus v.4.4.9

    Membership not active

    I then deactivated the PMP plugin, and the message disappeared, but now, like @netplanner, any course wasn’t available and showed the “Get the course” button instead of “Start the course”, forcing the student to buy the course again. I also created a new course and bought it, I also manually enrolled a student to test it, and had the same result.

    Desperate so far, I restored a backup of plugins only (one I made before updating to one of the last MS updates, made it with Updraft Plus Plugin), keeping PMP deactivated and courses are now available again, but I’m worried about the website security since I don’t have the last update, and if I do update I’ll have a lot of customers very upset.

    Hi guys.?I solved momentary by restoring a backup taked two days ago (may, 05). I also disabled the automatic updates and I will wait some news from Stylemix Themes (that, for now, seems to is not able to help us!).

    With this restoring, for now it works again.
    I hope this solution is useful for you too.

    I cannot roll back an older backup because there are some students that have subscribed to the courses. That would be a lot of work.

    We investigated the issue in our testing environment to address it as quickly as possible. While troubleshooting the case, it was detected that the courses were not accessible for students who were added to the course through the “Manage Students” section.

    We released an update from the MasterStudy LMS plugin. Can you please update it and let us know if it helps?
